Time measuring device for agility competitions, produced by the Swiss company FDS-timing  https://fdstiming.com/ The set is prepared for use at agility competitions of any rank. The timer is available in three gate versions, designed for different conditions and needs:

• Mini Single sensor for indoor and outdoor use. It has its own battery and wireless communication with the console. A simple and fast solution for training and competitions.
• Basic Gate curtain with 5 sensors, suitable for all height classes. No need to change settings during competitions. It has its own battery and wireless connection to the console. Intended for indoor use, as direct sunlight may affect operation.
• PRO Gate curtain with 16 sensors, covering all required heights. Works indoors and outdoors in all conditions. It has its own battery and wireless communication with the console. This version is used at agility world championships.

All versions work with the same TBOX console and the MLED display The full set consists of:

• start gate with wireless  transmitter,
• finish gate with wireless  transmitter,
• display,
• printer,
• timing console.
• 2 chargers

All the components of the set are battery-powered ( except display) and can be connected to a PC through serial or USB  interface. The delivered set is configured and ready to use.  The gates are not physically connected to the jump wings, therefore they can be used with any type of jump (also tyre / long jump etc). The ring crew (office) can read the time on the display, printer or on the computer (only with proper software). When the start - finish sequence is initiated correctly, the timers don't require any further action from the ring crew (only if the dog leaves the ring without taking the finish obstacle, the ring crew has to stop the timers manually). The batteries last 50-60 hrs. Charging time is 2 hrs for each part of the set (each gate pole for start / finish has to be charged separately).

Timing console - TBox

The TBox main purpose is to capture time events triggered by manual switches, photocells or other devices. Those events are then transmitted to your preferred timing applications via serial port or USB. TBox consists of high-end electronic components and is equipped with sophisticated firmware, all housed in a simple and functional case, ensuring professional performance at competitive costs. The timing console TBox is the most important part of the set connecting all the peripheral devices into one working set.    There is a button (no2) on the device to manually stop time if the dog leaves the ring without crossing the finish gate.  Up to 6 gates can be connected to the timing  console wirelessly and 2 through cables.  The set contains two wireless gates (for start and finish).  The device is battery powered and can be charged through USB C port, also during operation. Interface to connect to a PC It is possible to choose from several available protocols: Alge, FDS, Seiko, which allow you to automatically transmit the time measured to the software for calculating the results.    Homologation for TBox-41  FIS : FDS.001T.20 FEI : 2019001-1B/C  Precision 1/10’000 sec 

Gates PRO - start and finish

Each gate consists of 2 freestanding sets of sensors.  There are 16 sensors placed every 5 cm, starting from 20 cm above the ground and reaching 95 cm, ensuring that the gate can detect dogs in any height category.    The maximum distance between two sides of the gate is 160 cm.  The gates are weather (sun and rain) resistant. When using radio connection with the timing console, the distance should not exceed 500 m.

 

Gates BASIC - start and finish

 

BASIC gates consist of two free standing sensor units.

The sensors are arranged on 5 levels, allowing the gate to detect dogs from all height classes.

The maximum distance between the two sides of the gate is 500 cm.

BASIC gates are intended for indoor use. Outdoor use may be affected by direct sunlight.

The distance between the gate and the main unit in radio communication should not exceed 500 m.

   

Gates MINI - start and finish

MINI gates consist of a single sensor.

The gate detects only one height, so the sensor position must be adjusted when changing height classes.

The maximum distance between the two sides of the gate is 20 m.

MINI gates are intended for indoor and outdoor use.

The distance between the gate and the main unit in radio communication should not exceed 500 m.

Display

The display can be powered by 230V (the power supply is included in the set) or 12V-24V battery (not included in the basic set).  The data from the Tbox can be sent through the radio or a cable. The display can work in any of the 10 colours available: Red, Green, Blue, Yellow, Magenta, Cyan , White, Orange, Deep pink, Light Blue.    

Printer

The printer is connected by a cable to the timing console. It prints the exact time the competitor has started and net time of the run (the net time is a difference between time the run has ended and the time the run has started).     

Bag to be filled with sand to weight the see-saw down. The bag can contain 15 kg - 20 kg of sand. The bottom of the bag is made of antislippery material to prevent the bag from sliding.
